ZDocs and GMail Integration - Let's kick up a dust storm!
As much as I like using Gmail, I would really like to open my attachments in Zoho Docs (ok writer, sheet, whatever) rather than have to do the download-upload jig or be stuck with getting defaulted to Google Docs. And now with pagination and headers-footers kicking in I would really like to default to Zoho from within GMail.
Why should I use GDocs when I prefer Zoho? The precedence for this has already been set. I choose what applications I want to install on the desktop. Likewise, on the extended OS of the 'net I should be able to mash up my applications set from anywhere I want. Nothing new here. It's already been ranted about in many places and while the tech crystal ball says that eventually app mash ups will be as easy as idli-sambar (via the tortures of SOA?) lets just say I would prefer to have this like yesterday!
Anybody else feels the same way? Give a shout on this thread. Feel otherwise? Leave your thoughts just the same :-)
