Inherited field values
Is it possible for a field to inherit its value from another field? For example: In my Companies view, I have a dropdown called Industry. In my Contacts view, I have a similarly named dropdown with the same possible values. Is there any way for the Contacts.Industry dropdown value to be the same as the Companies.Industry dropdown? In other words, a contact will inherit the industry value for the company they are associated with. Many thanks in advance, Jim

No 'Participants' field when creating an Event
Zoho CRM Enterprise edition, 9 users, part of Zoho One. When I create a new Event on a Contact, there is no Participant field - I've checked the layout - it's just not there. What am I doing wrong? I feel like I haven't enabled something, somewhere else. Thx for any help, Kevin

Hello - We had our design team create custom email templates. One issue, they disredarged creating the template for "Contacts" and made it for "Leads". So when you go to send an email through Zoho to a contact your email template does not showup. Due to, the template being created for "Leads". How can I change the default title field from FREE ENTRY to a SELECT field? Since its a system field, it doesn't let me me change or delete it. How do I filter Zoho contacts so that only a subset of them get sync'd with my Outlook contact folder?

Anybody else out there like to see the ability to add tooltips to custom fields? We are using zCRM a lot more and trying to customize it to fit our needs. Appending Variables to URLs in Templates
I use SalesIQ and CRM. When setting up email templates within CRM I'm forever copying & pasting variables to append to URL links. so I can track the user when they come back to my website. It would be great if we had to option to "Append Details" automatically by checking a box. A lot of people would not be familiar with code or what variables to append, this would make it a lot easier. See graphic attached.

Email Sequences
Does Zoho CRM have email sequences feature or some another way how to check whether email I sent to prospect was replied to? And if not, could it automatically send a follow up reminder email? There are separate tools that do that, but it would be great to be able to do it within Zoho CRM. Does anybody have a workaround for this?

Driving view and actions for accounts with associated contacts
From my perspective Accounts drive everything. Contact are "ride along". So the key action item (send an email, do a follow up , create a tag etc) is always Account first and then select the Contacts associated with the Account to take an action, individually or in a selected group of the selected Contacts, So to my surprise the ability to filter and create a view based on Accounts and then further refine it by contact is not available.
