Adding notes while creating tasks
Hello: As I see it, I am able to add notes (or associate documents) only after I complete creating a task. Is it possible to create a task and at the same time add notes regarding this in one go? Thx, Sethu

"Meeting Cannot be Scheduled on Expired Timeline" !!!
That is the "engineering speak" message you get if you try to schedule a meeting on the calendar for a day that is already over. There are 2 problems with it: 1. It's "engineering speak" and should be changed to clear English. How about "you cannot schedule a meeting on a day that has already passed". 2. ISSUE: Show advanced option on Task module is implemented as a separate link. Requires an extra click (which can be quite an irritant if need to create multiple tasks) SUGGESTION: make advanced option list open by default. Indicate required fields with asterisks - users would then understand that non-required fields are optional. edmanukian

[Projects 2.0] :Check boxes for closing tasks
I am starting a project plan using zoho project and will comment on the interface / functionality, etc. as I move along. My first comment is on using check boxes as a way to close tasks. This seems to me contr-intuitive as most applications would use it to select an item, not close it. On more than one occasion I inadvertaintly closed tasks while wanting to select them instead. I observed this is also an issue with tasks on certain CRM modules (imho it is implemented inconsistently there as well).
Email forum response
Hi, Was wondering if it is possible to email a response or a new post to the forum in zho projects. I know in zoho creator records can be added via email. It would be cool to be able to reply to a response directly via the email notifications. Was wondering if this is possible? Thanks

when you are logging time for a previous date, it's easy to log time for the current date instead since that is the default. can you revise the edit function on a timesheet entry to revise the date. you can revise the hours but you can't revise the date. that would save you having to delete an entry and then have to redo the entry on a different date. yem.ling.fong

Is there any config setting or option for selecting the template to display The messages in the forums ? I think the design of the page is not very good, we can see only one or two messages per screen. When there is a big number of messages it is impossible to see many of them in a shot. In ver 1. of Zoho Project, we could click the Upcoming Milestones tab and see a COMPLETE listing of ALL upcoming milestones on one page (this is extremely useful for us as we can see if any tasks are duplicated anywhere through our tasklists). In version 2 of Project, clicking the Upcoming Milestones link (in the green box) merely expands and contracts the box/recordset ... to be useful, it should when clicked show a complete listing of all Upcoming Milestones in the right/main project pane. Hi Love the new look, thank you. One point. If I am in a task list, and I edit a task and "save", the task list auto closes and I have to open it again. Worse still, the header starts with a "-" rather than a "+". It's necessary to click the "-" to make it into a "+" to open the list again. Importing from other than MS Project
I would like to propose a feature to import from .csv or other similar standard formats in addition to MS Project. Additionally, we need enhanced ability to more closely map project or other import formats to the structure for Zoho Projects. Something similiar to the structure of the csv export could suffice in the interim. Thank you for your consideration.

2.0 problems
Hi, Thanks for releasing version 2.0. Overall it looks good... however, there seems to be a problem with the 'Overdue Tasks' toggle under the Dashboard section. If you click it, it actually shows an overdue task that has an end date a month from today. It is true that the task has started yesterday but that does not mean it is overdue! it is only overdue when it has passed the end-date, not just the start-date! I thought maybe you are taking in the completed percentage into account, so I put in a

Hi, There seems to be an error in the "Send notification to members..." function when uploading a new version of a document. When I click the "Save notification" box, the check box disappears and I do not get the box that shows me the available members to select for emailing. Hi, Please bring back the old functionality of being able to view all milestones and associated tasks like in v1. I want to use ZP for planning several big projects, and that overview is crucial!

In ZP 1.0 dependencies were viewable in a side calendar. I'm not sure where to look for this now? Also, I can't seem to get the dependencies to 'take' despite making sure there are no date issues. An apply button and some type of AJAXy confirmation would be most useful for this! Boyan
