Engage in effective communication via 'Forums' in Zoho Projects iOS app

Hello Folks, 

 

We are excited to announce that our new updated version (v3.2.5) of Zoho Projects iOS mobile app is live. 

 

The new version of the app covers one of the most asked for features. Zoho Projects iOS app now supports the 'Forums' module. 

 

Forums, is a place where you can collaborate with project members and brainstorm new ideas. Unlike emails, you can check out the topics in a central location. 

 

In Forums, you can start conversations using the Q&A section, sticky posts and make announcements internally. 

 

To create forums in the app, follow the below mentioned steps: 

 

1. Go to Zoho Projects mobile app. 

2. Tap the Projects tab. 

3. Select a project. 

4. Choose 'Forums' option. 

5. Select the '+' icon at the top to add a forum topic.






You can communicate with the users internally or externally using the Forums option. 

 

For both internal and external communication, the following options will be displayed: 

 

1. Sticky post.

2. Q&A.




For internal communication, the below options will be displayed. 

 

1. Sticky post.

2. Q&A.

3. Announcement.




The forum notification will be displayed in the feeds section of the app. Tapping the respective forum topic will take you to the forum details page. 

 

In addition to this, we have also brought in support for 'Rich Text Editor' and to choose either the device's theme or the app's theme in this version of the mobile app. 


You will now have the option to highlight the text using the options like Bold, Italics, Underline and much more. This feature is available in the 'Description' field. 



Device/ App theme: You can now choose to set either the Device/ App theme within the Zoho Projects mobile app Settings. 

You can do so, by going to Zoho Projects app > Settings > Choose the theme as per your requirement, under 'Personalization'.
