What's New in Zoho Books - September 2018

Hello everyone,

We're back with new updates! For the past month, we've worked on numerous usability improvements and features to help shape a better experience with Zoho Books. Let's take a quick look at some of them.

Horizontal Balance Sheet (Indian Edition)

The Horizontal Balance Sheet brings better readability by displaying your liabilities on the left and your assets on the right--a format that some people are already accustomed to.

Improvements to Project-based Invoicing

You now have the option to include bills associated with your projects in invoices. We've also made adding timesheet entries in project-based invoices optional. This means you can send your customers an invoice only for expenses and bills that are related to a certain project.

Batch Tracking for Composite Items and Bundles

You can now track your  Composite Items and  Bundles in batches, enabling you to track down expired or defective products in your inventory. These powerful stock-keeping features can be availed by enabling the Zoho Inventory add-on.

Quicker Invoice Actions

Invoice actions such as Edit, Print and Approve can now be performed right from the invoice list page. Thereby, bringing these actions one step closer to you.

Enhanced Inventory Reports

The Inventory Summary report and the Inventory Valuation Summary reports can now be generated based on item names. This lets you find out how a particular item is holding up in your inventory. For even more granular controls, you can generate the Inventory Summary report based on the availability of particular items.

You can also check out what's new with our  iOS and  Android mobile apps. These are just a few of our updates. Head over to our What's New Timeline to check out other releases from last month. We're always working to improve Zoho Books, so keep an eye out for more feature releases and updates from us next month!

We'd love to hear your feedback. Leave us a comment below or write to us at support@zohobooks.com for any specific questions and we'd be happy to help!

Cheers,
