We have introduced some new features and enhancements in Zoho Inventory this month. Let's find out what's new!
1. Tax Inclusive Sales Orders from Shopify
Fetch all your tax-inclusive sales orders from Shopify to Zoho Inventory. This is applicable for organizations in the US, UK, AU, CA, and Global editions.
2. Workflow Automation for Transfer Orders
Create Email Alerts, Custom Functions, and Webhooks for your transfer orders in Zoho Inventory.
3. Search By Serial Numbers
The Serial Number of an item is now listed as a criterion under the Advanced Search. You can retrieve the item or transaction that contains the particular serial number. This search is supported by the Items, Composite Items, Transfer orders, Invoices, and Bills modules.
To do this:
Go to the respective module, open Advanced Search and enter the serial number to be searched in the respective field.

4. Keep up with the Latest Announcements
Apart from the regular Notifications tab, we now have a separate tab to view announcements. With this, you won't miss out on any of our important announcements in the flood of other notifications.
5. Edit Items Within Transactions
You can now modify item details within a transaction. This will be helpful when while making last-minute changes to an item before saving the transaction.
6. Create Items From a Composite Item or Bundle Page
Besides the many ways of creating an item in Zoho Inventory, you can now add new items on the fly from the Composite Items or Bundles page.
To do this:
Create a new composite item/bundle, click the + Add New Item option from the drop-down, enter the item details and save the item. This item will be added as a part of the composite item/bundle and will also be available as a separate item in your inventory.
7. Associate Order Numbers to Items in Invoices/Bills
While exporting invoices, you can now export the Sales Order Numbers linked with the items in invoices. In case of bills, you can export both the Purchase Order Numbers and the Purchase Receive Numbers associated with items in the bills.
When importing invoices or bills, you can specify the Sales Order Number for invoices, and the Purchase Order and Purchase Receive Number for bills against each item in the import file.
8. Added New Criteria for Export
When you export data based on custom dates, you can choose whether you want to filter the data based on the Order Date or the Last Modified Date. The records will be sorted and exported accordingly.
Feel free to try out these new enhancements and let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or write to us at support@zoho-inventory.com.
Cheers,
Lakshmi
