What's New in Zoho POS - February 2026
Hello everyone,
Welcome to Zoho POS’s monthly updates, where we share our latest feature updates, enhancements, events, and more. Let’s take a look at how February went.
Purchase and sell items on different units
We have introduced a unit conversion functionality in Zoho POS that allows you to create multiple units for the same item and use them in transactions. Using this feature, items can be purchased and sold in different units seamlessly.
Imagine you run a supermarket where you purchase eggs as trays (30 pieces) and sell them in pieces, cartons (12 pieces) and trays (30 pieces). In this scenario, you can create units such as piece, carton, and tray based on your quantity requirements and set the conversion rate using the base unit "piece." A tray contains 30 pieces and a carton contains 12 pieces. With this setup, an item purchased in trays can be sold in pieces, trays, or cartons, and the price will be calculated automatically based on the defined conversion rate.

This feature is currently supported only in the Zoho POS Windows and web applications. Support for Android and iOS applications will be released soon.
Stock count and price details for Windows Touch POS
Stock count and price details are now supported in the Touch layout of the Zoho POS Windows application. These details are displayed under each item tile along with its image and name to help you make better sales decisions. You can enable this option under Settings → Appearance in the Zoho POS Windows application.
