Adding my fidnigns to a task

I have created 100 task for my team to complete a job - when they click on the NOTES icon net to a task they cannot upload there finding for me without first uploading the documentation then assigning. It would be good to be able to upload their findings in one step without cutting and pasting into the note area, when they are documents I need to pull down from . Any ideas?
