Announcement: Zoho DataPrep 1.0 will be deprecated on October 31,2025

We'd like to inform you that the Zoho DataPrep 1.0 version will be officially deprecated as of October 31, 2025. This aligns with our efforts to streamline and improve your overall experience with Zoho DataPrep 2.0 which was released in Sep 2024 . To ensure seamless access and to take full advantage of DataPrep's functionality and features in 2.0, we highly recommend migrating your existing workspaces from 1.0 to 2.0 before October 31, 2025.
NotesNote: Please note you will not be able to import data, or create datasets and workspaces in the 1.0 version after May 31st.

Why is migration necessary?

1. Pipeline builder: We have completely revamped the way you build and manage data pipelines with our visual pipeline builder, where one can visualise the complete flow of data, from source to destination.

So, to move your existing data flows to the new pipeline builder, we need you to migrate the existing datasets.

2. Simplified collaboration: With the introduction of pipelines, we have also simplified sharing and collaboration with revamped roles. You need to map your users to the new roles appropriately during the migration process.

How to migrate from 1.0 to 2.0?

To adopt the new changes, we have a migration wizard that will guide you in moving your workspaces from 1.0 to 2.0. Here's a quick walk-through video on migration. You can also refer to your migration guide.

FAQs

1. What will happen to my workspaces if I don't migrate to the 2.0 version?

Your 1.0 workspaces will be automatically migrated to the 2.0 version after October 31, 2025, and all the associated schedules to the datasets will be removed during the auto migration.

2. Can I still create new workspaces and datasets in the 1.0 version?

No, after October 31, 2025, the 1.0 version will be fully deprecated, and you will no longer be able to create any new workspaces or datasets in 1.0 after this deadline.
