Announcing Zoho Sync: Push Mail And Mobile Sync Service

Today, we are glad to announce the public release of Zoho Sync for mobile devices. You can now get automatic notifications PUSHed to your mobile phone or tablet when new emails arrive and your device’s local mail, contacts and calendar applications will sync with the web client in real time.
Zoho Sync functions using your mobile device’s Microsoft Exchange® ActiveSync® (EAS) account support and does not require any additional software. Since almost all the latest IOS, Android and Windows mobile devices support EAS, you can easily enable Zoho Sync on most mobile devices that run on these popular platforms. If you want to sync only mail, only mail and calendar but not contacts and so on, you can specify your options in your device’s EAS account settings.
We take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who helped in testing our service during the beta version. Most of the issues discussed during the beta stage are addressed in this release.
Limitations of Zoho Sync :
1. Primary Calendar alone will be synced with your device.
2.
Emails deleted from Templates/ Draft/ Spam/ Trash folders in mobile will not be deleted in the mail server.
3.
Empty folder / Empty Trash / Mark Folder as read are not supported in mobile.
4.
iOS 5 features - Folder create / Folder delete / Folder update are not supported
Note:
Zoho Sync is available only to users in the Standard 15GB Zoho Mail Suite paid plan. As a gesture of goodwill, the beta users can continue to use it irrespective of their plan.
