Attachment error Error while attaching files!

Attachment error Error while attaching files!

When I hit the send icon on a document, it opens up a mail page.  I enter the address of who I want to send the doc to, add a subject, and hit send.  Then I get this message:  Attachment error     Error while attaching files!  What would cause that?
