Attendance import user who did not checkin/out

What format should I use in the CSV if the employee forgot to check-in or check-out for that particular day?  I can successfully import if the 3 fields (employee ID, time of check-in, time of check-out) is all correctly filled in but how what format should the data be if the employee forgot?
