Ok so I go Home> Personal settings>Email settings>Add new Mailbox and enter the correct data for my POP3 account. Persistently I get the "Authentication failure..." message which I am told can only mean that my password is incorrect. I have gone as far as resetting my password so that I can be absolutely certain that I am entering the correct one.
But still I get the failure.
The folks who support my mail (this is not hosted by ZOHO) say: "Please make sure you are authentication on your inbound and outbound servers. T his should then fix the issue." when I asked their help.
I tried loading my gmail account as another mailbox and it worked first time. I've tried this in IE and in Chrome. Can anyone give me any pointers as to what might be the solution to this error?
