Auto update Current Date field

Hello,

I don't know if this is a bug or supposed to work this way but assuming the latter i'm posting it as a feature request.

We use Zoho CRM Mail Merge (which uses Zoho Writer) and we have a letter that has today's date in it (pretty normal use, right?). The date was inserted by going to the Insert menu>Todays Date.

The problem is that when you use the template again the next day it hasn't updated to today's date. It still has the date from yesterday. Isn't it supposed to update it? Rather strange if you have a template for mail merge and the function is to show an old date, i could have typed the date in then, no need for a insert option.

So my request is to either fix this possible bug or create the feature so it auto-updates. Thanks in advance.
