Can't expand activities/notes/job posting area

Can't expand activities/notes/job posting area

I can not expand an activities window to see what I wrote and I can't expand the job posting window either. All I have is an up and down arrow. I used to be able to drag the right hand bottom corner of these windows to expand. It's not there anymore. Please help!
