Am attempting to create a very basic project to understand dependencies at task level, Gantt, WBS, ical & RSS subscriptions, etc.  I have followed the help instructions, but when I try to create a simple task hierarchy the following problems exist:

1. dependencies are not visible after adding them - only when you click into the field again, do they appear.

2. cannot click on dependency icon to view

3. I can only create dependencies from general bucket -- cannot create dependencies using an existing, previously created tasklist and associate tasks.

4. when I leave the dependencies screen, previously entered dependencies are not saved and must be reentered.

I consider myself fairly software literate, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how your software works (or is supposed to work).  This must be my user error, since otherwise this program is fundamentally broken or missing foundational requirements that all basic project software solutions require.  

Any help would be appreciated as we are trying to evaluate your products along with others.
