Candidate form submits but doesn't create any candidates

I've created multiple web forms to collect new candidate information. Please see these forms in setup > career website > web forms. NONE of them actually create "candidates" in the candidate section of Zoho (or anywhere else these submission might end up) The form DOES submit successfully, on our website and also on Zoho career website. It gets to confirmation page. In short, WHERE DOES THIS FORM CREATE CANDIDATES. This is not intuitive at all, and I'm fairly technical... = (
