Candidate to Employee conversion process

I am paying for 2 users with the standard edition and want to learn more about the candidate to employee convert process. I don't seem to be able to see where this is located at all. Is it included in my subscription? I also didn't see any employee (default) module? I have option to convert candidate to contact, but nothing else... Please explain further. Thank you.
