Candidates in multiple positions (Know from outside)

Many times it happens that we work for same positions for many clients. Lets take example of Java developer. we have requirement with 4 clients. and suppose 1 candidate is associated in all 4 positions without our knowing. There should be some indicator which shows that this candidate is already applied for more than 1 positions and these were the last status for each position. Sometimes if candidate is in final stage and if we approach for our new position then its not good.
