Change a Money Out to a Returned Item -- Credit?

Change a Money Out to a Returned Item -- Credit?

If I purchase an item and enter is as a Money Out item (say ... a Cost of Goods Sold item) and then I return the item and my account is refunded the money by the vendor, how do I document this in Books?  I don't see a way to do this.  Yet, this seem so basic of an action item.
