Recently I noticed a change in the side thumbnail pane behavior and I am wondering if this is a feature or a bug.

When you double-click on a slide in the sorter view, that slide is opened in the normal view. I believe the side thumbnail pane used to get updated so that the thumbnail of that slide would appear in the visible portion of the side pane. Now that behavior does not seem to happen anymore. 

I believe the old behavior is generally preferable, so I would like you to bring it back unless you removed that feature intentionally.
