Changing Phone # to Primary?

Hi,

I had two zoho accounts for different domains, each with a different and valid phone number for verification. I have since deleted one of the accounts completely. I then added the second phone number to the first account, which worked fine.

However, when I try to switch the account to use the newly added number as primary it gives me the error message that the number is used in another account.

I've sent multiple emails to support over the last week, but have not heard back on a single one.

I understand the reason to require phone numbers to prevent spam/abuse, but now I need to help to resolve this matter.
