Combined Tasks and Issues View (Jira-Style Unified Workload)

Hello Zoho Projects Team,
We hope you are doing well.

We would like to submit a feature request regarding task and issue visibility in Zoho Projects.

Current Behavior:
At the moment, Zoho Projects separates Tasks and Issues into different modules, each with its own
Views, Filters, Settings, Milestone display and User workload visibility

We understand the logic behind this separation and appreciate the structure.

Problem:
However, one major capability we are missing from Jira is a combined workload view.

For developers, QA engineers, and project contributors, work is not naturally separated into “tasks” and “issues.” Their real workload includes both.

Today, a developer must switch between multiple views just to understand:
  1. What tasks are assigned
  2. Which bugs/issues are assigned
  3. What belongs to the same milestone
  4. What is due next across all work items
This creates friction and makes day-to-day execution less efficient.

Requested Enhancement:

We kindly request a new unified view, alongside the existing separated modules, that combines Tasks and Issues in one place.

This combined view should be available in:

  1. Project-level view → a single list / board / workload view of both tasks and issues
  2. Milestone-level view → a complete milestone workload view that includes all related tasks and issues together
  3. User/My Work view → so each developer can see their entire assigned workload in one screen
Benefits:
  1. Gives developers a true single source of truth for workload
  2. Reduces context switching
  3. Aligns better with Jira workflows for migrating teams
  4. Makes Zoho Projects more suitable for software development teams

This enhancement would make the transition from Jira much smoother and greatly improve the daily experience for development teams.
