Conditional Layout Problem: Unable to hide subforms on CRM mobile app

I'm implementing some conditional layouts. Everything works fine on desktop however on the iOS app the conditional layout does not work for a subform.

Summary
When field status = x, show user the Subform.
- works on desktop
- does not work on iOS app.

This is being used in a custom module
