Contextual collaboration, with Zoho Projects for Microsoft Teams
We are delighted to announce Zoho Projects for Microsoft Teams. You can introduce context from Zoho Projects and continue collaborating on your tasks from within Teams. There are three ways in which you can leverage this integration and transform the way you work:
1) Task conversations in channels
You can use the Zoho Projects messaging extension to start a conversation in your channel about a task that you are tracking in Zoho Projects. To get the details of a task, you don't need to depend on the URL or a screenshot. Simply select the most recent task from the messaging extension or search for a task by its description or task id.
2) Smart collaboration with Zoho Projects bot
Mention the Zoho Projects bot in a channel or personal chat, and the bot will prompt a list of suggested commands. When you select a command, an actionable card gets added to your conversation where you can perform actions like updating the status, priority, and assignee of a task. You can even ask our bot to create a new task. If you're stuck, invoke the help command, and our bot will be happy to help.
3) Get work done without switching tabs
When work gets scattered in conversations, you can dive deep into the context of a project by adding Zoho Projects as a tab to your channels. On configuring this tab, you get the Zoho Projects web app experience within Teams. You can view all the tasks of a project, dive into the task details, track whom they're assigned to, and when they're due. That's not all. You can also attach documents, set dependencies, create custom views, preview blueprints, and more!
You can get the Zoho Projects app from Microsoft teams app store, and you can read more about setting up this integration here. We hope this integration is beneficial for you and your teams. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to share them in the comments below.
Cheers,
Team Zoho Projects
