Continue the Ordered List Number after a Sub-ordered or Sub-unordered list

Continue the Ordered List Number after a Sub-ordered or Sub-unordered list

When I use the sorted list, I start at 1, then I create a sublist using an unordered list, then the program does not continue with the next number. I select the numbering again, but the program does not place the next next number, which would be 2.
Example:

  1. A thing
    • 1/2 thing
    • 1/4 thing
    • 1/6 thing
