CRM & QuickBooks Integration- Invoice Number
We're trying to connect our CRM with our QuickBooks information. We're having problems with the quote and invoice numbers though. Since we can't customize the Zoho default quote and invoice numbers (which are ridiculously long anyways), I created a new auto number field that will create the number in our format for both the quotes and invoices. However, since the only field that will map to the QuickBooks estimate or invoice number is the subject field, I have to copy and paste the newly created auto number field in to the subject. It's also difficult because you can't view the auto number fields while the quote or invoice is in the edit screen, so I have to go out of the edit screen just to see the numbers so I can copy and paste it in to the subject field. It just seems like a lot of extra work. I was hoping to make this process more efficient by integrating our two systems, but this just might be more work.
It would be great to see-
-Customization of the default quote and invoice number
-A more flexible integration of QuickBooks and the CRM. It doesn't seem to make any sense why the subject field is the only one that maps to the invoice number field, but we can't change it.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
