Date format in Recruit - need to be able to have dd-mm-yy

Hi, how can I change the date preference in Recruit to be dd-mm-yy? I CAN find the preferences in my personal account settings, but that doesn't change the setting in Recruit. This is VERY VERY important as in the UK we use dd-mm-yy and very serious mistakes can be made if a date is entered for an interview incorrectly. PLEASE can you advise me asap thanks Christian
