Definition of Milestones

I started working with Projects today. I am sort of liking it.

The term "Milestones" is misleading. Traditionally a milestone is a point in time. You are using it to define a period of days that is more than one.

I think it would be more appropriate to call this a "Project Phase".

So you would have a Project Phase. within that phase, you would have tasks and meetings. Optimally you would also have milestones but these would have to be of a duration of max one day and min zero time.
