Desktop Sync (Mac) Duplicate Files

Hello, we are setting up our Z-Docs account. I downloaded the desktop sync tool and have linked it to a workspace to share docs company wide. The idea is to sync files on my computer with files on the workspace. The same idea for other colleagues.

But somehow the sync duplicates files on my computer. I've copied files in the workspace folder on my computer, so they can get uploaded, but they are duplicated now, and also sitting in the "Zoho Docs" (root) folder on my computer.

What am I doing wrong. Any settings?
