I had an email in my inbox.  I read it and then hit the reply button. I received an error saying the message couldn't be retrieved (or something like this).

I refreshed the page and not the email has completely disappeared. I've tried a search (deleted, archived etc) and can't find it anywhere.

What could have happened to it?
