Does 2 factor authentication protect a seller from fraud or a mis-sale?

Hello all,

Has anyone any thoughts on 2 factor authentication? We have had some sales denied as ever ordered by a customer recently. The credit card company jumps to the customers defence and immediately refunds the customer, without consulting us! We had to go to great lengths to substantiate the order process, delivery details and who signed for the items. We are reluctant to add high value items to our Zoho Ecommerce shop for this reason. Would 2 factor help and demonstrate to the credit card company that the purchase was required?
