Domain hosted elsewhere, web site / emails to be hosted on Zoho, but MX records conflict with CNAME
My domains are all hosted at MyDomain.com. Recently I set up a web site on Zoho Sites and I altered the CNAME record at MyDomain for the domain mapping to work.
The CNAME instructions I followed are here:

And it works OK. I had verified my domain with a temporary CNAME and it verified. (I deleted that extra CNAME record afterward.) No problems with that.
So my two entries (one for www and one for root) now point to CNAME
zhs.zohosites.com.
Next I set up an Email account on Zoho for that domain, and set up the MX records at MyDomain according to your instructions: I have three entries. Priority 10, Host @, mx.zoho.com... Priority 20, Host @, mx2.zoho.com... Priority 50, Host @, mx3.zoho.com.
But it does not work. I am losing emails now - for more than 24 hours.
I spoke to MyDomain customer support and they said to contact you, because they said the MX Records mx.zoho.com etc try to resolve the CNAME record zhs.zohosites.com and fail.
