Is it possible to verify my domain name without a web hosting?

I wanted to have an email ID setup with a customized domain name. I have no need of setting up a website. So I bought the domain name from "I want my name" and then I bought the Mail Lite Plan from Zoho mail for having my own email. Now I am told to verify my domain name using a DNS Manager for which I need to pay for web hosting.  Is there another way around it?
