I have a client who is considering looking at switching to Zoho Books, but is very specific on functionality that he needs the software to be able to do. I use Books myself for accounting/invoicing but do not specifically know if it can fulfill this functionality.

This person wants to be able to enter an order for a client and track the materials he needs to order from his vendors for that order. Currently he is able to enter into a database all the materials he orders, from which vendor, and for which job. He can then run a report on all outstanding vendor orders. He uses that report to contact his vendors to check on their delivery dates. The purpose is to know when his materials will be delivered to him so he can schedule his job.

Is the above possible with Books? How could I test this functionality on my Books account to give him a demo? Any information would be helpful!
