Email Forward to txt message question

Email Forward to txt message question

So far I like the Zoho services during this testing phase and hope to get past this last barrier in order to purchase full service for all of my workers. We currently use BlueTie email and it works well but does not have all features of Zoho.

When an email comes in to each of my workers accounts, I need for them to be notified quickly of the new email which may have important instructions for them. They currently do not have a way to check email by mobile and they usually drive to one of the local wifi hot-spots to check their mail after being alerted.

With our old BlueTie service we simply forward all emails to myphone@vtext.com where 'myphone' is replaced with their respective phone numbers. This forwarding sends a copy of the email to each phone by text message. The email is truncated by the vtext service but the "From" and "Subject" lines are in the text message. This allows my workers to be alerted by simply text message on their regular cell phone (no smartphones).

The problem I have is that Zoho mail forwarding will only work if I can verify the forwarded address. There is no way to click a verify button from a text message on a plain old cell phone. There is also not enough characters in the text message to collect all of the "cut and paste" link embedded in the verify email. Is there a way to accomplish this without the requirement for the verify link? My old BlueTie system does not require the verify step and it has been working nicely for years. Being able to do this with Zoho would enable me to switch our business over to the Zoho service.

Let me know if you can think of an alternative that does not require a smartphone. I would really like to continue using the forward method of notifying my workers and this is the only way I could think of to get that done.

Thanks,
