Email from my web server company not delivered

I was just trying to log into my web server account (different company). That page saw fit to send a confirmation e-mail to my Zoho address.

Well, guess what Zoho has done with that e-mail?

Absolutely nothing.

It's half an hour later, and nothing has been delivered. Not even into Spam.

I had to add the domain to the allow list, and a second attempt went through.

30+ minutes wasted.

Why did it not go into Spam? This domain was certainly not on my block list. If it's not explicitly blocked and the system believes it's an automatically generated message, shouldn't it go into Spam?

I've never seen this behavior anywhere else, where the system just decides eh, we're not going to let you see that... at all.
