Emails disappearing from CRM contacts record?

Emails disappearing from CRM contacts record?

I use Zoho CRM + Zoho mail & it appears that when I delete an email from zoho mail client the email which has also been attached to the client in CRM gets deleted? Is this correct & can I prevent this from happening?
