Enable integration of CRM CPQ functionality for ZohoOne customers using Zoho Finance application
Hi there. I can't believe I'm needing to launch this idea as I would have thought this was a little obvious. Following a number of conversations with the technical team it's become evident that the CPQ functionality within CRM cannot integrate with Zoho Finance – essentially if you are ZohoOne customer using CRM and Books or Inventory, or a User with both CRM + Any of the Zoho finance suite, you cannot use CPQ because CPQ is limited to the CRM finance modules which are typically turned off when the Zoho Finance suite is integrated.
Zoho CPQ in CRM is great functionality. Zoho Books is an excellent tool. Being penalised for using ‘more’ zoho products because Zoho doesn’t integrate it’s application stack well… should not be a Zoho customer problem.
IDEA:
1. Rework the CPQ functionality so that it can be enabled properly for customers using Zoho Finance products.

2. Perhaps consider reworking the financial aspects of Zoho CRM so that “IF” a tenant wants to use both Zoho CRM & Zoho Books together, they seamlessly integrate – it’s not an either/or options where you switch off the internal CRM quote/sales order/Invoice functionality, instead when you ‘connect’ the applications it simply extends the functionality into both applications. I recognise each Zoho application is created in isolation – but the biggest strength is when they are connected as part of an overall business platform. From a product marketing perspective it seems a little strange that customers who use more get penalised (I cannot use the CPQ functionality BECAUSE I have Zoho Books integrated). That’s not your typical product strategy but I’m not in charge of Zoho’s strategic marketing so it’s not my place.
