Error while importing products Purchase Price: Value in the field does not match with the data type supported by us.

I am trying to import items into zoho inventory using an excel spreadsheet. I keep getting this error 
Purchase Price:  Value in the field does not match with the data type supported by us. 
no matter how i format the cells this comes up and will not import my items with purchase price.
