Every email says "sending" and saves as draft, but also sends the email...?

Every email says "sending" and saves as draft, but also sends the email...?

So every email I send will show up as having gone out in the sent folder (and it has) but in the Compose section it still says the message is not sent. This means every email I write I have to click cancel, discard the draft and then check the sent folder.
