Fast Way To Search Spreadsheet - CNTRL + F Is Too Slow - Search Box In Middle of Data
Hey Zoho Docs Team,
The Cntrl+F for search really slows us down when working on
spreadsheets. Also, it always shows up right in the middle of all your
data.
Is there any way, to search our spreadsheets quickly?
Using A Macro Search Box

Here are the other options I was thinking about:
Add Search box in Zoho Sheet toolbar
In excel, there is a search box built right into the toolbar at the top so we can easily find data quickly. This would be very helpful.
Create Search box in spreadsheet
This would be a great workaround. If you guys could provide the code to search a worksheet by adding a search box within a given spreadsheet.
Modify Search light box
The current Find feature closes frequently and pops up in the middle every time. This would modify current Cntrl + Find lightbox to stay open, allow for movement to side of page.
Other ideas
I have also tried using the browser Find tool. This works quickly but only on the part of the spreadsheet that is displayed. For larger spreadsheets, it does not search the entire sheet that is not loaded. Certainly, any other work around would be really great.
Why Is This Important?
For any company, quickly searching data over and over is a basic requirement when working with spreadsheets. Currently, we have to do it dozens of times per day. To avoid this, sometimes our team members are downloading to local computer, using excel and pasting the changes. This would help any user search quickly and change thousands of actions per month.
