Filtering Candidates

When I need to view candidates for a job opening, I use the "filter by c andidate for associated job opening" option. This lists all the Job Openings we have, and not just the active ones ("in progress"). Some of the Job Opening in the dropdown list have already been cancelled or put on hold. As a recruitment firm, we process numerous openings, and to have even inactive ones appear in the list makes it unwieldy. Hope you can provide an easier way to view associated candidates for active job openings. Thanks!
