forgotten password on free email account

forgotten password on free email account

Hello,

while I rarely forget my password, when I just did - a second ago but only for a minute - Zoho sent a link to update my password TO MY ZOHO account!

Help!  This makes no sense.


Why would I want Zoho to send an email to an email account that I CANNOT GET INTO BECAUSE I FORGOT THE PASSWORD?!

I have always had a security question for use in case of a forgotten password, but I never get a chance to ask that.

Do I have to supply a non-Zoho email account to retrieve a forgotten password to my zoho account?  Makes little sense, but I don't even know where to add that non-Zoho email account.

I am not a heavy user, but I do use zoho for my very important emails from my bank, etc due to the security, so not being able to access my email is NOT GOOD.


I remembered my password, but I would like to know why I am not asked my security question?
