1. I have entered negative numbers and some appear as -100 while other cells appear as (100). How can I make the formatting consistent throughout?

2. Can I add conditional formatting? So for example if a number is negative show it in red, if positive in green? 

Are there any plans for adding the ability to link to a cell from a different workbook, not just cells from within a workbook?
