Gmail POP3 not syncing new mails

Hi, I added my Gmail account via POP3 a while ago. In my Gmail settings I set POP3 access to only allow access to mails received since it was enabled. I monitored if everything worked in Zoho and decided to sync my mail history over to Zoho (so I have only one place I need to search). In Gmail, I switched POP3 access to all mails and Zoho started downloading a lot of historic mails (~16000). After it was done, all my mails where stored in Zoho. The issue is that since then, no new mails from Gmail have been synced. The storage used by the Gmail account is about 1 GB, so I have lots of storage left. I can also see it is still actively syncing with Gmail without showing any problems. I also created a new app password to make sure they weren't outdated or anything. What could be the problem here?

You may suggest I re-add the account, but syncing all the mails another time is something I'd rather not do again.
