How do you enter numbers as text?

I've imported an existing spreadsheet with cells that have numbers as text (they're id's and should NOT be treated or formatted as numbers.)

Zoho sheets handled this correctly (yay!)

But I can't figure out how to enter new ids. In every other spreadsheet I've used you type a single quote " ' " - doesn't seem to work in Zoho.
