How to categorise Square Sales?

How to categorise Square Sales?

I'm currently evaluating Zoho Books for a University student club.

All our sales run through Square and payments are either credit card taps on a Square card reader or online payments via a Square payment link.

I notice that when Square payments get imported into Zoho books, they just seem to be generic "Sales". I can match the transactions from Square Clearing with our Bank Account fine. But a profit/loss report just gives an Operating Income with one category: Sales.

This isn't very useful to me.

I'd like to be able to see what our sales are split in different categories. This could just be items in Square (we only have a few items). E.g., a particular transaction might include $40 worth of item X and $120 worth of item Y.

Is there some way to do this?

Or is my workflow all wrong and there's another way completely to get what I want?
