I am trying to audit a specific item (“Item X”) that has been invoiced multiple times with different line-level descriptions.

Here’s the situation:

• I am using Zoho Books (Professional).

• Each invoice may contain the same item but with different descriptions entered in the invoice line, not in the item master.

• I want a report or export that lists every invoice line for Item X, including:

  • Invoice Number

  • Invoice Date

  • Customer Name

  • Item Name

  • Item Description (line-level)

  • Quantity

  • Rate / Amount

I’ve tried:

1. Reports → Item Details → But it only shows master item descriptions, not line-level descriptions.

2. Invoices list export / current view export → Only exports visible invoice columns; “Item Description” does not appear.

3. No Detailed CSV option is visible in my export menu.

Question:
Is there a way in the Zoho Books UI to export all line-item descriptions for a specific item?
