How to limit group calendar notifications to 1 per entry or change?

How to limit group calendar notifications to 1 per entry or change?

I receive multiple calendar notifications for each entry in a shared group calendar.  For example, if I enter an appointment on my group zoho calendar I receive 2 e-mails: first from noreply@zohocalendar.com that notifies "<my name> entered a new event in your group "<group name>", then a second notification for the actual even that is from "Me".  I find this duplication irritating.  How do I stop it?
